Abdu Rahim Kabali joined ISU-UP in 2019 as a service learner during his undergraduate studies in Agricultural Land Use and Management at Makerere University. During his internship, he supported the school gardening and feeding efforts in Kamuli, igniting a deep interest in child nutrition and community-centered education.
Now based in Masindi District, Abdu serves as the School Feeding and Vocational Training Officer, where he coordinates the implementation of the school lunch program, hygiene promotion, and vocational training activities. His work bridges nutrition, education, and sustainability empowering pupils, engaging communities, and building systems that foster self-reliance.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration and is currently pursuing a professional marketing certification. Abdu is set to begin his Masters in Human Nutrition, furthering his mission to strengthen school-based nutrition and development programs.
