- Accounts and Administration Assistant
Martha joined ISU-UP/ICON in the Masindi District in March 2025 as the Accounts and Administration Assistant. She assists in accounting operations.
Her primary role is to provide planned technical support to the Finance specialist, assist in preparing the organization's monthly statements, prepare weekly payment schedules ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal approval policies. Martha also implements and maintains proper document archiving systems, ensuring that staff have roles tied to the strategic direction of the organization and providing a link between the employees and management.
Martha joined Iowa State University-Uganda Program (ISU-UP)/ICON in Masindi after working in various roles with different entities including Kangulumira Public School as an Accounts Assistant, GK Foods Ltd as an Accountant, Bugobi Sacco as a Cashier, Shammah Primary School as a Bursar, and Serere District Local Government as an Intern.
She holds a Diploma in Accounting and Finance, Bachelor's degree in Commerce, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration at Makerere University.
